DAC: NEW FEZZ EQUINOX PRESTIGE by Lampizator 

Equinox is the world’s only Lampizator licensed vacuum tube D/A converter designed by Lukas Fikus and one really needs to listen to what this product can do at $6250, It is brilliant.  The balanced unit is fairly new and the " Positive Feedback "link to the review  attached is for the single ended unit.

 A couple of years back we took two of the rooms on level 9 and we were quite taken by the activity in at least one of the rooms.  We did fly in a brand new pair of Avantgarde UNO SD & DUO SD speakers that were to be launched the following month in Munich. As it was the first two pairs we picked up were stolen in transit and we realized then, we would have to fly in two new sets of speakers and set up without running in which,,, by the end of day 3 sounded quite nice.  We flew in Mezzos last year just before the show and it was a great big room perfect for these massive beasts,, we love them and we think many felt the same way. This year, we'll be  a little less but more. Fully run in.  We have been getting ready and running in the gear now with plenty of time with products that are a bit better suited for the size of the room  (# 16) . Our original plans were to run the new *!Colibri set with the C18,,, its too much for the room and as they will not make it in on time,,we have selected products that will blossom in this space.  The Piega COAX 411 are to many reviewers, "the standout" of stand-mount, bookshelf speakers  while the new Diamond MK2 range is simple superb for a larger audience on a more moderate budget. These speakers punch so far above their weight,, if you like the design, you're in for a treat.
