The Evolution of Excellence the COS D10V4SE
Introducing the COS D10V4SE
At COS Engineering, we believe that the pursuit of acoustic
perfection is an iterative journey.
We are proud to announce the D10V4SE, a Special Edition
refinement of our flagship D10.
By re-engineering the power foundation and signal isolation,
we have achieved a new benchmark in transparency and musicality.
About and Features - the NEW V4 "SE" version
Advanced Dual-Transformer Power Base
High-Bandwidth Analog Regulation
The D10V4SE features a fortified power section
utilizing two improved, low-noise toroidal transformers:
Enhanced Transient Response: Each transformer now
features an oversized magnetic core, significantly improving
instantaneous transient response for more dynamic shifts.
Superior Isolation: Re-engineered for less magnetic leakage
to prevent interference with sensitive internal components.
Increased Efficiency: Thicker internal wiring reduces
resistance and heat, ensuring stable, high-efficiency
performance during long listening sessions.
Our proprietary discrete regulation system has been
further pushed to the limit. The D10V4SE utilizes 8
independent Op-amp based linear regulators (4 per
channel) rather than standard off-the-shelf chips:
Ultra-Low Noise Floor: Upgraded with lower-noise, higher-
bandwidth Op-amps.
Dynamic Precision: A larger loop gain phase margin and faster
dynamic response ensure that even the most complex musical
passages are rendered with absolute control.
Blacker Backgrounds: Improved ripple rejection and lower
output impedance ensure the signal remains untouched by
power fluctuations
Sophisticated Grounding & Isolation
To eliminate cross-contamination between digital and
analog domains, we have completely rearranged the
internal grounding architecture:
Path Optimization: By rerouting analog, digital, and
external grounds, we have ensured that significantly less
digital current flows through sensitive analog circuitry.
Reduced Emissions: This new layout further lowers
internal emissions and noise, preserving the delicate
nuances of the original recording.

The Sonic Outcome
The result of these meticulous engineering changes
is a listening experience characterized by:
A More Spacious Soundstage: Greater depth and
air between instruments.
Darker Backgrounds: A silent floor that allows low-
level micro-details to emerge.
Unrivaled Detail: Enhanced clarity across the entire
frequency spectrum
