C.O.S. Engineering S10 & S6

More little Black Boxes of Magic, yes they look unassuming yet they deliver quite the surprise and no they are not some veblen item your friends will chastise you for forking out well earned cash, you will hear the difference as we have been able demonstrate to "scoffing" first handers. The proof is in the pudding and one good demo can change them all. Well not all, ultimately, i would think one would only consider buying one of these not so cheap switches if the system deserves the attention in the area of music streaming so lets tell you a little about these switches and the new item about to launch as they are built to please and this they do.

S10

The S10 is an Ethernet switch designed to handle the frustrating lack of audio fidelity arising from streaming. Through a tested integration of power supply, clock and circuitry, it keeps exogenous noise under control. Powering up the S10 added to a hi-fi system with streaming is like uncorking one's favorite wine, bringing soothingly back the right flavor.

S6

The S6 Pleasurable music can be brought back by controlling noise in streaming, as S10 has demonstrated. Here comes S6, a streamlined version of S10, making HiFi-quality streaming readily accessible.

I make a note here as soon the S6 will see a running partner in the same chassis size and build which is the LPS to not only supply this unit with an improved power source that will push the performance above that of its big brother but will also feature an additional +12V/2A power outlet to assist the routers feeding the switch reduce their noise levels. We all know these routers and their wall worts can generate horrible noises into a system so we see this as a massive benefit.
