Having just arrived back to the Melbourne Winter, the cold and the jetlag as per previous is taking some time in getting over, the trip however to the Hi Fi Event of the year was well worth it. I was going to skip it as a few suppliers were not going to exhibit however a few calls came in and, OK, I'll book a flight and and check out the new gear or "planned" product.

I will add more on this as time allows for now i can say, the crew from Avantgarde have some great things in the wings and the Opus 1 gets the opportunity to share its older siblings fine "colours" as a optional extra. I have discussed now with the dealers and well being this to the market late July.

For now i can say i was pleased with the venue as it managed a large scale onslaught with ease and plenty of room to move and breath unlike many shows i have attended in the past. Having travelled to Vienna more than a dozen times, it was not a new city to me so i chose to stay at a fabulous hotel in the Museum QTR that made the journey better again.
