This year we are looking into creating for many, a more cohesive minimalist approach to getting great audio with less.

Less boxes, less cables and less fuss and in many cases giving you more of the room back with an emphasis on better audio performance. Much Better from where they were. For others we know it's a different journey, its not nor ever should it be a one shoe size must fit all approach as we all travel our own path. and so shall it be with these new offerings and maybe these are under the banner " All You Ever Wanted"?

So this year we have rolled around a bit over the table with "All You Need" which is generally seen as a reference to the iconic track by the Beatles "ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE" and does'nt this world need a lot more of this right now.

With the Avantgarde SD range of speakers, the idea of fully active with their iTron system being an option was not looked on as high end by a few yet those that auditioned applauded, wow is what we all said, awesome and why some asked, well, it makes perfect sense especially for those wanting to move up into the world of Super High End Audio without past system baggage. Today we are now super excited to present the System 1, the show piece for the up and coming Australian HiFi Show in Sydney in a little over 20 days time.

System 1 will be primarily made up of the fabulous and already award winning, new Avantgarde Acoustic Opus 1 which brings a new dimension of Avantgarde technical precision and design and when combined with a C.O.S. fully loaded pre-amplifier, it is a really easy package to digest, so prepare to be thrilled and surprised, it will not be a shock but we do encourgae two sessions so you get your head around the sheer dymanics and power from such a beatiful system.

OPUS 1 has won the iF Design Aware 2026 in the discipline Product Design, category AUDIO.

Opus 1 is a full range, fully active floor-staning speaker and at around 35% smaller than the average Avantgarde System, it is destined to be a benchmark product for the small footprint high efficiency, dynamic loudspeaker segment for many years to come.

The C.O.S. Egineering Team will partner this speaker system in all Opus1 dealers in Australia. While they might not have this new version we will showcase in Sydney, you can on audition fully appreciate the skill and dedication from the team behind such a product. They all have the streaming option on-board.

The D10 started out for us primarily as a great DAC, a really fine DAC in fact.

The Team could have simply built a great DAC plus in another chassis, a supurb analogue pre-amp and the wonderful headphone amplifier capable of satisfying the fussiest of head-fi lovers could have been its's own success story.

But no they decided, a one box solution is ALL YOU NEED for the basics of a great hub.

What if they could do better and so they did and designed a wonderful Optional phono pre-amplifier module that could be an easy install for a consumer.

This Module easily rivals products of the same value as a stand alone so why not have it built in and save on the cables.

Best to come was the Optional streaming module which uses a free app or is also Roon Ready for those that want to use this fabulous system to manage their streaming music libraries, again no extra cables so it's a save with simplicity.

OK less from me and more to read later as i update the C.O.S. pages as the new version, this New "SE" is being readied to impress. This will feature the all new Streaming Module.

One will need signal cables to complete the hook up of course to feed the XLR signal from the D10 to the Opus 1.

System 2

"This is for System Builders or for those that want a real change for a modest spend" and again ill say this is where you can start your hi-fi journey with a great selection and where you end up is all up to you.

We generally cater to crowd of mixed ideals and aspirations so last year we ran two systems, same amp, different speakers for a totally different market and this year we will do the same.

We will have on Show the New Jade 10 from Pylon a stunning speaker built with love and care in Poland from a very large team who know this market well. More on these fabulous Jade 10 later and for those that got to hear them last month at the Sydney Audio Club, this time we will partner with the All New FEZZ Titania MK2. i wrote earlier piece on this product as it is tipped to have a massive year as it shakes up this segment of the market, there is nothing like it and possibly this is your first and last ever tube amp, maybe just maybe?

The Jade and Fezz series are in the stores listed below around Australia, none have this New Titania as the factoty starts shipping next week this new model fro those that had stuck up the hand early,, so most dealers will be ready from Mid/Late May. If you rock up for an audition, and they don't have the new version, they should be in the phase of clearing the existing version so maybe, just maybe you can pick up a real treat on a deal. The Titania is a wonderful prodct, the Mk2 is simply better.
