G3 stands for "Generation 3", the successor and next step up from our acclaimed XD series. Starting with the original Generation 1 models in 1993, this is the second time in 30 years that our technologies and product platforms have been completely renewed.
The G3 Series takes nature horn principle to its (il)– logical extreme: sheer musical power unleashed through the use of unbridled efficiency coupled to an extended frequency range. Combing the TRIO G3 with the SpaceHorn bass units – the state-of- the-art development of our legendary BassHorn – delivers a unique and totally immersive musical experience.
Optional with the iTRON fully active modules – if required with integrated wireless network capa‐ bility – our patented GameChanger technology, with which we directly control the acceleration of the membranes through a perfectly orchestrated current flow. For a perfect, distortion-free, crys‐ talline and natural sound that almost sounds like live.

We are happy to fulfill individual color requests upon request. For this we only need a color code or a color sample.
Each shade of our 24–color collection has been carefully selected. Our claim is that the shades of colors are both timelessly elegant and expressive. That they integrate harmoniously into your home and that they emphasize the beauty of the horns.
The inspiration for the selection of the colors is partly our origin – the Odenwald, with its natural, soft and earthy nuances. We are close to home
and nature and we are down–to–earth.
At the same time, we are always creating new ideas, questioning the existing, striving for perfection – and are fascinated by astronomy. Therefore, we have also been inspired by the universe – with all its colorful beauty – which is ultimately the origin of us all.

Who seriously resolves to rethink a matter, always has to start with the most difficult question of all. The question "Why?" Why do all conventional amplifiers have to battle with cross-zero distortions? Why are there no truly satisfying solutions to fight the contaminations of the public mains system? Why does one allow that electronic components resonate and thus distort the sound? And last but not least: Why do amplifiers all look alike? Questions which are still open and which served us as the starting point of likely one of the most ambitious projects in the history of amplification technologies: the XA PRE.
The XA PRE amplifier offers 2 gain settings, thus allowing for optimized volume control of low to medium efficiency speakers (approx. 90 dB/W/m) or high efficiency speakers ( > 100 dB/W/m), e.g. Avantgarde Acoustic horn loudspeakers.
In HIGH GAIN mode the amplifier's overall gain is increased by 13 dB.

Though fascinated, moved and amazed by Avantgardes larger acoustic transducers we have always longed for a more compact horn loudspeaker to make the incomparable experience of Avantgarde Acoustic accessible to a wider audience of audio enthusiasts. The ZERO 1 opens up this new road with a revolutionary size simplified shape hassle-free setup and fully integrated processor and amplifier technology.

A compact horn loudspeaker with a very big sound claim. A reduced, clear exterior with an almost lavishly elaborate technical interior. That is the UNO SD.
The entry into the world of our classic horn speaker series and yet already a statement that does not shy away from comparisons.

The High Gloss Black Piano finish option is a $7,700 cost plus option.
The non inclusive colours listed from #C4 to #C12 are a $3,300 cost plus option, for the Trio it is $7,700.
